SIVA

SIVA is a gypsum based, specially formulated ready-to-use bagged plaster that can be applied directly to brick, concrete, aerated concrete, etc.

It has high strength, surface hardness and adherence.

SIVA does not slump while setting on the surfaces to which it is applied.

Because it is a breathable material, by regulating humidity SIVA leads to a healthier environment.

It is a non-combustible material. The water in its structure helps to retard fire.

Its long workability time enables an easy application with a low waste rate.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Before application, clean off all dust and dirt as it may cause poor bonding.

Pour 6-6,5 L of water into a clean bowl. Add 10 kg of SIVA slowly until it covers the water surface. Wait few minutes, then mix until a lump-free, doughlike mortar is achieved.

After mixing, the mortar is ready to use. The mortar in the bowl can be used for approximately 1 hour. To apply, use a straightedge profiled plastering trowel and a steel spatula. Scrape off any residues after they set.

SIVA can be applied as a single 5-40 mm thick layer onto brick, concrete and aerated-concrete wall surfaces and 5-20 mm thick layer onto ceilings and exposed concrete surfaces.

Do not use at temperatures below 5°C. The surfaces of the dry and hot layers must be moistened to death.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Never mix SIVA with any other product or material (except SATEN).

Use a low-speed mechanical mixer.

Do not apply SIVA in layers less than 5 mm thick.

Do not add any water or plaster to the mortar after mixing.

Do not use SIVA in temperatures below + 5°C.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

Bags must be stored in a dry place and should not be stacked more than 20 bags high.

Do not allow bags to be in contact with the ground or with moisture.

Use SIVA within 1 year of the date of manufacture. Poor storage conditions or exceeding the shelf-life may cause the physical properties of SIVA to deteriorate.
